Hello everybody, thank you very much for visiting my site.

As a guy from Switzerland and not from a hockey family, I had a long way to go until I found my love for hockey. It all started on the Xbox, when Fifa got boring, I started with NHL 07 and I was thrilled. Shooting the puck with Big Z from the blue line was so much fun. That's why I somehow blame him for my love for hockey. That's how it started. That explains a little bit my love for the Bruins.
At some point I got the huge wish to see a real NHL game, and after a long time of preparation it finally happened. In 2015 my girlfriend and I were ready to start our first trip across the Atlantic. In Chicago it happened, the first NHL game with the banner ceremony of the Stanley Cup they won in the season before. Unbelievable. On this trip we enjoyed four NHL games. Two in Chicago, one in Boston and one in New York City. 

Collecting

I have started collecting in the year 2016. I won a warm up St. Patrick's day jersey from David Krejci. And then it all took its path, as you all probably know...

Today I can be happy about 12 live seen NHL games. Two times in Chicago, once in Boston, three times in New York (Rangers), once in New Jersey, once in Phoenix and four times in Nashville. Especially the first game in Chicago with the banner ceremony will remain in my memory specially. But also the game at the TD Garden when I saw my favorite team for the first time was a very cool moment. The games in Nashville were unforgettable, because I was able to watch them with a friend who lives there, it was again another great experience. ​I just love hockey with its great mentality. I hope I can fly over the pond again to watch some games and meet some great people. Cheers from Switzerland, Samuel Meier
